DON'T MISS THIS HISTORY-FILLED DAY, HUZZAH! Jenny L. Cote is coming to Riley's Farm to present her history/writing workshop PLOT that corresponds with her award-winning novel on Patrick Henry and the American Revolution:

“GIVE ME LIBERTY, OR GIVE ME ANOTHER PLOT LINE!” will cover Jenny’s research for her award-winning novel on Patrick Henry: The Voice, the Revolution, and the Key Go behind the scenes of Patrick Henry’s famous speech that rallied a nation to independence, and discover how it actually all started in Rome. Jenny will share how she is weaving together one fun plot line for this famous speech across two novels, and a second plot line across seven novels.

Jenny's workshop will be held in the Hawk's Head Tavern from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Following the workshop, you are invited to stay and order a fabulous colonial faire lunch at your own expense. (Please note that Riley's farm has a “no outside food” rule, so no picnic totes or coolers, etc.) Jenny will visit with guests, and Patrick Henry himself will be with us at 12:15 p.m. to chat about "Liberty or Death." He will also draw the name of a pre-registered guest to give away one copy of The Voice, the Revolution, and the Key!
